For a few months now, this new Netflix original series has been shooting in our city, a continuation of The Cathedral of the Sea, both based on the novels by Ildefonso Falcones. The series is directed by Jordi Frades and has as protagonists Yon González, Elena Rivera, Rodolfo Sancho, Michelle Jenner, María Rodríguez, Pere Arquillué, Manel Sans, Mercedes León and Natalia Sánchez. Also confirmed in the cast are Aitor Luna, David Solans, Pedro Casablanc, Bruna Cusí, Nancho Novo, Gabriela Andrada, Abel Folk, Críspulo Cabezas, Pol López, Clara Segura, Fernando Albizu and Rosana Pastor, among others.

Los herederos de la tierra takes us to Barcelona in 1387 and explains the story of Hugo Llor, a 12-year-old boy. His dream is to become a master shipbuilder. That's the reason why he spends the day in the shipyards with his mentor, the respected elder Arnau Espanyol. But his future is uncertain.

Produced by Diagonal TV, Los herederos de la tierra will premiere exclusively on Netflix worldwide for 12 months, and then it will be available on Atresmedia and Televisió de Catalunya for 3 months.
