‘La hija de un ladrón’ shot in Barcelona

Barcelona and its surroundings have hosted the filming of this film for six weeks. Opera prima by the director Belén Funes, who also signs the screenplay with Marçal Cebrián. Sara (Greta Fernández) has been alone all her life. He is 22 years old and has a baby. She wants to have a family with his little brother and the father of his son, Dani (Alex Monner). His father, Manuel (Eduard Fernández), after years of absence and upon leaving prison, decides to reappear in their lives. Sara knows that he is the main obstacle in her plans and makes a difficult decision: to keep him away from her and her brother.

La hija de un ladrón is inspired by the short film Sara a la fuga, written and directed by Belén Funes. The film is a co-production of Oberon Cinematogràfica and Bteamprods, with the participation of RTVE, TV3 and Movistar +, and the support of ICAA and ICEC.
