Catalonia and Madrid have been the setting for the filming of this documentary with the script and direction of Maria Lluïsa Pujol, which narrates the life and career of the almost centennial director of photography and film restorer Joan Mariné.

In Barcelona, ​​they filmed on November 2 and 3 at the Filmoteca de Catalunya, the Albéniz Palace, and at the Joan Maragall Gardens. Outside of Barcelona, ​​in the Museum Space Aula de Cine Collection Josep M. Queraltó in Vallbona de les Monges (Lleida) and its surroundings. The film vindicates the figure of Joan Mariné Bruguera, who turns one hundred years old on December 31, and who has a long professional career as a cinematographer, a specialist in stunts and special effects, a speaker, curator, and restorer. And it does so from its beginnings in 1935 until his last stage at the Filmoteca Española and the ECAM.

The documentary has the participation of the Turkana Films production company and the Fundación Aula de Cine Colección Josep M. Queraltó, of which Mariné is one of its Patrons of Honor.
