The coffee featured in this film

The Honduran director Carlos Membreño has shot in our city scenes of his next film, Café con sabor a Mi Tierra. The film is about the backbone of the Honduran economy: coffee. It’s a story based on real events and the reality of many families. We all know coffee, but we do not know the sacrifice and passion that comes with growing it behind the cup we consume. The audience will be able to know in a family drama all the old processes, technics and sowing, but also fashion practices such as barista, special methods, tasting or new ways to sell and market the most commercialized product after oil. In Café con sabor a Mi Tierra you will see the reach of Honduran coffee in the world.
