The Central Library Xavier Amorós is installed in the municipal ancient matedero, sample of industrial architecture of ends of the 19th century, of the architects Francesc Borràs Soler and Pere Caselles, constructed in the year 1889 and now restored in his elements mas interesting. The new construction has respected the singularities of the ancient building, with the interior courts and the exterior coverage.
