The Museu Arxiu Tomàs Balvey is a building constructed in 1848 and consists of a ground floor and two floors. The origin goes back to the museum collections of ethnology and history collected by local pharmacist Tomàs Balvey.
The most singular area is the Balvey Pharmacy, an ancient apothecary with the original furniture dating from 1780 and more than 200 pharmacy jars preserved with the original products inside. There are also bottles, glass bottles and equipment, such as scales, mortars and pharmaceutical equipment.
The Museu Arxiu also has a garden that tells through its six zones environments Mediterranean vegetation typical of the region, with special attention to the medicinal species.
