Near the Cinta square you will find one of the most typical parts of Tortosa, the Romeu Portal, the old entrance gate to the city made in gothic style, which was probably opened in the stretch of the roman walls.  It is the entrance and exit to the Sant Jaume de l'Ebre Way.  El Portal has often been a scenario for legends about Tortosa.
