Installed in Vall d'Hebron, the visit to this Museum has a double architectonic and pictorial interest.
The building is a 15th century Catalan farmhouse declared a historical-artistic monument with Gothic windows and a stone facade.
The permanent collection of the Museum consists of 125 paintings of characters that appear in the book of Don Quixote made by the painter Maestro Palmero (1901-1991). This collection is the most complete that has been done about Don Quixote characters and is complemented with scenes from the large format novel.
In the museum you can also see a mural painted in the fresco in a natural size that represents the birth of the coat of arms of Catalonia.
There is also an ancient cave where the legend says that Joan de Serrallonga was hiding.
Of interest are the furniture and ceramics that decorate the farmhouse.
The Museum also takes a tour of the work of the Saga Palmero family of artists with a century of history.
