Parc de la Font Florida is a transitional area between the built-up city and Montjuïc hillside. It is a very spacious neighbourhood park, largely sheltered by the flats, which makes it a great place for kids to play in.

This park is shaped like an elongated “c”, whose centre can be reached from two points in C/ Mineria. The entrance next to Plaça de les Matemàtiques marks the start of an area especially designed for pétanque players. There are plenty of courts to play on, as well as benches to sit on and watch the games. A row of jacarandas at one end brighten the place up in the summer with their blue flowers.
