The old railway station is today Barcelona's most important intercity bus station.

The southern facade, next to the park, is preserved from the original neoclassical building (Pere Andrès, 1861).

The magnificent glazed roof and the other facades were added later, in 1910, by Demetri Ribes.

There is a pleasant green area to the south of the building.
