El Timbal opened the 2015-2016 school year in a new building officially approved by the Departament d'Ensenyament (the Catalan Government Education Department) in order to be able to teach the Cicle Formatiu en Grau Superior en Tècniques d'Actuació Teatral (Higher National Diploma in acting).

The new facilities provide the school with better accessibility, thermal and acoustic comfort, energetic sustainability, equipments,... Everything has been designed to create a much more pleasant environment for our students as well as for our staff.

Placed in one of the main artistic hubs of creation and cultural promotion of Barcelona, we are very close to TNC (National Theatre of Catalonia), l'Auditori and the Disseny Hub. The school is perfectly connected by train (Arc de Triomf station) as well as tube, bus and cycling lanes. A space designed for the people.
