This is a large, woody park that links Barcelona to the Collserola range. Its 17 hectares result from the pooling of two rural estates and the remains of the Oreneta castle that lends the park its name.

This is an excursion through a wood inside the city, where the local authority has improved the network of paths, created resting areas and also children’s play areas, the largest of which is equipped with table-tennis tables. Another notable feature is the picnic areas, especially the one in the highest part of the park. The tables are shaded by a large carob tree and the location offers an exceptional panoramic view of Barcelona, from Sant Adrià de Besòs to Prat de Llobregat. The park lies next to the Can Caralleu public swimming pools, which are ideal for taking a dip during the summer.

From 1 November to 31 March (every day), 10:00h to 19:00h.
From 1 April to 31 October (every day), 10:00h to 21:00h.
