Casa Mónaco is a modernist summer tower, built with the participation of the architect Eduard Maria Balcells i Buïgas. Initially commissioned by Josep Carrera in 1905, it went through various renovations and different owners, until it was acquired by the City Council. Currently, the house has been adapted for municipal uses, including the Art School and social services.

Casa Mónaco stands out architecturally for its floral decoration, a helical pergola with noucentista pilasters and the pool box. Another element of interest is its landscaped patio, with notable trees such as huckleberries, magnolias or date palms.
