We set out into an afternoon in the life of Barcelona's ''el Carmel'' neighbourhood; almost two hours in the afternoon of February 10, 2006, to be precise, shot nonstop. 
The residents, who participate by inviting us into their homes, their garages, their daily occupations, talk to us about ordinary, everyday things, through which we can glimpse the origins and the future of the city.
