Synopsis:

Year 1970. In the autopsy room of a hospital, Sister Paulina, a nun who works as a nurse, and Ñito, a caretaker, recognize the corpses of a couple of former childhood companions: Java and Juanita. The discovery leads them to recall their memories of the 1940s, of a desolate Barcelona after the Civil War in which children, lacking toys, amused themselves sitting among the ruins, explaining "Aventis" stories in which they combined what they knew with what they imagined, mixing fiction with reality.
