Europol agent Tom Brindle is assigned to the case of the ''Pygmalion'', a serial killer that has murdered a number of women in France and Spain. In one of the scenes of the crime, a sample is taken that perfectly matches the DNA of Marco Soler, a 24-year-old soldier. Even though all the tests point to Marco, he has an indisputable alibi. While inspecting the facts surrounding Marco, they discover that he was conceived in a fertility clinic and that the murderer is actually his twin brother. In order to capture the killer, they decide to use Marco to help sketch out a psychological profile of his twin.
