Mario is a young Menorcan fisherman, when his father dies he is fascinated by Irene, due to the apparent communication that exists between them. But Irene has to return to Barcelona and Mario decides to leave the island to follow her. His attempt to understand her situation interferes in the interests of her husband, a rich and influential industrialist, and Mario ends up in prison. Five years later, Mario’s revenge presents itself in Tiffani, Irene’s daughter, but his vengeance turns against him and his true nature is revealed.
