Esther is a 15-year-old from Barcelona who has decided to baptize herself in secret. Her father, Agustín, is a forty-year-old man who is against religion. A modern and progressive priest who awakens in the young woman the motivation to be baptized. But, just as Augustine's parents did not accept his atheism, neither did he accept his daughter's faith.
