Omar, an illegal immigrant from Morocco, makes a living selling CD's on the streets of a big city in Spain and participating in boxing contests for some extra cash. He trains at a gym owned by the uncle of his only friend, and flatmate, Toni, and dreams of returning to Morocco. He also dreams of winning the affections of Olga, an immigrant from the Ucraine who wants to become a ''proper lady''. A triangle of love and friendship grows between them, in which their dreams will clash with the hard reality of their lives.
