Antonio and Felisa have been together their whole life, and now that their health is more fragile they are afraid they might not be able to take care of each other. The prospect of having to go into a retirement home looms on the horizon as a threat. No todo es vigilia portrays love in old age, the nights of tossing and turning out of the fear of loneliness, death and separation from one’s life partner. A film that explores the fear of placing one’s life in someone else’s hands and the loss of independence.
