Synopsis: 

A painter and his gypsy wife return to Granada, the city where she was born and where she left due to problems with an old gypsy boyfriend (Manuel) who swore revenge on her. Now the husband wants to paint a portrait of his wife in the city where they met. But things don't go as expected when Manuel suddenly shows up at his house. Years later, the daughter of the painter and the gypsy becomes María de la O, a flamenco dance artist.
