Synopsis:

At her parents' small trattoria, Evelina dreams of becoming an international super-chef. She buys all the magazines and follows classes on video from one of the greats: Ferran Barrera, the chef of the Ambre, one of the temples of contemporary gastronomy. One day a letter arrives and destiny changes course: Evelina has been accepted for training at the Ambre. Against her father's wishes but with her mother's support, Evelina drops everything and heads to Barcelona. But once she's there she finds things aren't quite as wonderful as she'd expected: she spends the whole day peeling potatoes, albeit for the most chic restaurant in town. Meanwhile she discovers her idol, Barrera, is a lost soul in full mid-life crisis and in the midst of a financial battle to gain control of the restaurant. One day Evelina and Ferran coincide at a party and fireworks go off. But she knows everything about him, while he knows nothing about her... and, naturally, she has no intention of telling him....
