After many years study abroad, she has just come home to Madrid with an Italian. Her parents separated when she was very young; she barely remembers her mother and her memories of her father are as intense as they are cloudy.
One day, she receives a letter from a film laboratory informing her of the existence of the negatives of some films made by her father. Intrigued by this unknown facet of her father, she begins to make enquiries, tracing the films and trying to find out whether her mother is among the protagonists
