35-year-old Abel lives with his mother in Prat de Llobregat, a small town on the outskirts of Barcelona. His whole life elapses within the bounds of their small family business, his mother's house, his girlfriend's bed, the news-stand on the corner and the neighbourhood bars. To all appearances a monotonous and routine life. Always the same problems, the same faces, the same conversations. Day after day, hour after hour. However, Abel's life is not all it seems. Beneath his calm and affable exterior yawns an abyss, an abyss for which no explanation can be found yet which is inexorably repeated... One afternoon of a Thursday, Abel kills again.
