From 2003 to 2012 several government administrations tried to build a promenade in the last almost-virgin beach of the catalan coast: la Platja Llarga (Long Beach), in Tarragona. A platform was born to defend it and, along with it, some other people fought together against the political will to urbanize it. Although it was a highly controversial issue, the reasons for the withdrawal of the promenade are yet to be explained.
