In the words of its director: A Wen is my older brother. We are children of Chinese immigrants who arrived in Spain in the early 90s. When we were little, A Wen watched gangster films. I saw them reflected in his glasses when he punished me and made me kneel in front of him for not eating. When we grew up, my brother became a gangster and I became a film director.

La noche de la infancia is a journey into the underworld of the Chinese community in Spain from an intimate perspective: the portrait of my brother, now a businessman, of his family life and the increasingly frequent reunions with his former gang.
