The Happy House is a large, run-down modernist apartment in Barcelona, used as a squat, in a sense, by four students at the Dramatic Arts Institute and a poor young woman driven put of her marital love-nest b y her husband’s violence. Their one and only objective in life is to experiment, and accumulate as many and as exaggerated experiences as possible. They know this is the raw material necessary to achieve, with certain guarantees, the mission for which they have come into this world: to act.
