Johan Meyer is in a league of his own, when it comes down to Archeology. The Boston professor is highly regarded for his translations of Mesopotamic texts. He is therefore not surprised when approached to evaluate an ancient text whilst giving a conference at a Barcelona University. What is peculiar is the big rush his mysterious client is in, but the offer comes with a big cheque. With few days to translate it, he sets off to work day and night and strange and inexplicable happenings take form. His dreams are drenched in visions and when the translation is almost at end he realizes that the parchment contains a ritual that might just revolutionize the concept of after-life as we know it.
