Synopsis:

"And where are you from?". This is one of the discriminations that many Catalans must face, the protagonists of this documentary. A constant questioning, both institutionally and socially, makes them the creators of their own identity. They are descendants, sons, and daughters of African, Asian, Latin American migrants who came to Catalonia and are now part of it.

For many of these descendants, been born in Spain does not translate into an automatic obtaining of nationality, they do not have the right to vote, they do not have access to public works. To be born here is to survive between racial prejudices, exclusion, lack of references, gender violence ... it is the constant search for one's own identity that swings between two cultures with racism, classism, and machism in the environment.

This documentary shows all these adversities experienced in the first person by these young people and especially their ability to transform these realities making difference and diversity a value.
