Hank Robinson, a second-rate reporter, lands the job of his life after stealing a tape recording of a terrorist attack on a telecommunications company. He starts receiving tip-offs from an anonymous source that calls himself Crusader. These news scoops guarantee Hank´s success, but he begins to mistrust his secret informant, especially after he realizes that all the reports benefit a single man: the president of a major telecom company. Crusader has been manipulating him, and now Hank is trapped; he has the truth in his hands, but bringing it to light would mean the end of his career.
