Eva returns to the family flat after a long period of constant work. As she tries to compose her songs, she is interrupted by the aggressive melody coming from the next floor. Pepe, his next-door neighbor, finds himself stuck in a business that doesn't motivate him, and he relieves himself by unusually playing the piano.

Two floors below lives Alicia, who has settled in her sister's apartment while she is gone, to reflect on her relationship with her partner. Alicia is curious about Carlos, the next-door neighbor, who, in turn, is curious about her. Carlos, distracted by the insistence of his ex-lover and by the new presence of Alicia, tries to finish his novel.

Everything stays at home except what happens on the balconies of the four floors.
