Barcelona, May 23, 1981. Exactly three months have passed since the coup attempt in the Congress of Deputies. Now, eleven hooded men entered the headquarters of the Central Bank of Barcelona. What begins as a spectacular robbery soon turns into a real challenge for the recent Spanish democracy. The robbers have more than 200 hostages in the bank and threaten to kill them if the government does not agree to release Colonel Tejero and three other people responsible for 23F.
