David, a young man with schizophrenia, has appeared dead in his bathtub, in a pool of blood. He felt he was being chased and threatened by a presence that he was unable to define. His psychiatrist, Doctor Friedhoff, aware of his slow progress, had decided to submit him to a new and unusual therapy: to have him record himself for a week. Seven days of his daily life, trying to capture that presence through the cold eye and lens of the camera. The doctor’s idea was to prove to him that everything that was happening to him was the result of his own imagination and his altered and sick mind.
