Barcelona, summer of 1992. These are glorious times for everybody… For everybody except Carlos, the owner of the last beach bar in Barceloneta. Indebted, without clientele, just divorced and about to lose the family business and the love of his teenage daughter, bad luck does not stop hitting him. In a desperate attempt to straighten out his situation, Carlos improvises a great lie that will soon become his worst nightmare. He invents, neither more nor less, that Michael Jordan, the idol of his daughter, will go to eat at the beach bar right after the closing of the Olympics.

Immediately, Mariluz, a former delinquent reformed and turned into a beach bar cook, spreads the news throughout the neighborhood. Cornered by his own lie, Carlos will try to make his daughter's dream come true and will do everything possible to contact Air Jordan and get the basketball star to go to the restaurant. On this depends his relationship with Sara and he and Mariluz will invent the most hilarious and bizarre plans that can be imagined to achieve it.
