The Hotel Hostatgeria de Poblet is the only hotel complex located inside the royal Cistercian monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet (s. XII), declared by UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the largest inhabited monastery in Europe, pantheon of the Kings of Aragon and counts of Barcelona. The hotel is located within the walled enclosure, in the square of the Crown of Aragon, in front of the towers and royal gate and the abbey church. It has 42 rooms, mostly doubles (with two marriage beds or bed, with the option of individual use), four triple rooms and four upper rooms. The hotel is ideal for holding events, conventions, meetings, work actions, recordings, etc. It has a large classroom with a capacity of 120 people and two more classrooms with a capacity of 10-20 people. The Poblet Hostageria also provides access to the Abbot Palace, a 16th- to 18th-century manor complex with two large halls for conventions and acts. The hotel building occupies the former hospital of the poor and bosseria of the monastery, rebuilt on the medieval ruins with a modern building, newly built (2010) with all the services.
