The towns of Camprodon, Llanars, Molló, Sant Pau de Segúries, Setcases i Vilallonga de Ter are members of the BCFC network through the Mancomunitat de la Vall de Camprodon. Vall de Camprodon, a valley in Ripollès county in the Eastern Pyrenees, borders on France to the north and on La Garrotxa county to the east. Easily accessible by road, the area lies 120 km from Barcelona and 70 from Girona. Vall de Camprodon is formed by six municipalities: Camprodon, Sant Pau de Segúries, Llanars, Vilallonga de Ter, Setcases and Molló. Geographically, Vall de Camprodon is a mountainous area dotted with the most picturesque villages. This most beautiful natural setting, with peaks up to 3,000 metres and several excellent ski resorts, offers a vast diversity of landscapes in which Romanesque architecture, small towns of stone houses and slate roofs and the Noucentista houses of Camprodon are harmoniously integrated into the environment. Made popular more than a century ago amongst hikers and leading personalities of the Barcelona bourgeoisie, the town of Camprodon--the valley's modern commercial centre--is today a holiday resort of international standing. The region boasts a large range of hotel and restaurant facilities, large parking areas and companies engaged in activities such as horse and period carriage hire, adventure sports, catering and even audiovisual services, all within a short radius.
