Sant Esteve Sesrovires

Sant Esteve Sesrovires is a small town (population 7,000) in the north of Baix Llobregat county on the border with the Penedès region. This is an area famed for its wine and cava, and Sant Esteve boasts several quality local producers whose estates still conserve their original wineries.

Visitors to Sant Esteve can enjoy an interesting route around the town to discover several outstanding buildings, including--besides the aforementioned wineries--the 19th-century parish church, built in Gothic Revival style by the architect Josep Domènech i Estapà, who also designed the Palace of Justice in Barcelona. Besides an intense cultural agenda, which features several important events throughout the year, Sant Esteve also hosts many sporting activities, and offers visitors such facilities as a sports complex, where the services include hydromassage, heated swimming pool, steam baths, etc., and the Masia Bach golf course. Sant Esteve lies amid a beautiful natural setting that invites the visitor to discover such beautiful sites as the Canals i Nubiola Park, where the Ruta Verda begins and ends. This 'Green Route' takes walkers along a six-kilometre path over streams and through woods of Aleppo pine.

Striking a perfect balance between population, services, industry, natural environment and leisure facilities, Sant Esteve is a byword for the highest quality of life.
