The towns of Pont de Suert and Vilaller are members of the Barcelona-Catalunya Film Commission network through the Regional Council of Alta Ribagorça.
 
Lying in the Pyrenees of Lleida in northwest Catalonia, Alta Ribagorça is the smallest Catalan county. Its strategic situation and excellent road network facilitates access from this area to the most outstanding and important mountain sites.
 
A rugged, mountainous area embellished by superb lakes, Alta Ribagorça is ideal territory for film shoots due to the variety of its possible locations. Besides the natural beauty to be found here, and the interesting main towns, Pont de Suert and Vilaller, Alta Ribagorça also contains many small villages, some abandoned but all easily accessible, where examples of Romanesque and medieval architecture can be found, as well as houses and other buildings that have withstood the passing of time and fine examples of contemporary mountain construction styles. There are also many hydro power facilities in this area.
