Vall de Boí is a municipality formed by eight villages in the heart of the Lleida Pyrenees. Situated at the northwesterly end of Catalonia, Boí is particularly important for its natural and cultural heritage, which includes Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park and the series of Romanesque churches catalogued as World Heritage.
This is the ideal spot for film and television shoots, thanks to the variety and beauty of the locations: unspoilt mountains, well-preserved old villages and breath-taking landscapes, a delight in all seasons of the year: blanked in white snow in winter, lush and green in spring and summer, decked in golden tones in autumn.
Vall de Boí offers producers the services of the local Tourist Office to facilitate film shoots in the area. The Vall de Boí Tourist Office not only manages municipal locations, but can also obtain authorisation to film in other sites managed by other organisations, such as Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, providing production companies with film shoot application forms and providing assistance in obtaining the permits.
Production companies interested in filming in any of the villages in Vall de Boí should contact the Vall de Boí Tourist Office.
