Argentona - Maresme Film Commission

Argentona, in the region of Maresme, is a quiet town surrounded by a magnificent natural environment and a great cultural wealth. The diversity of the natural and cultural heritage enhances the residential attractiveness of the town. Its 12,000 inhabitants are divided between the town centre and various neighbourhoods. The architectural and artistic heritage ranges from Romanesque, Gothic and Modernism, highlighting some works such as the Sacrament chapel, the summer house of Puig i Cadafalch and the Paseo de la República promenade (formerly Paseo Baró de Viver). The natural heritage is another highlight of the town with its numerous torrents and streams and a large number of fountains, of which we can highlight the Fountains: Font Picant, Font del Ferro and Font del Mig, among others. Lastly, it is worth mentioning the Argentona Water Jug Museum, which contains more than 3,000 pieces of all origins and typologies, from the Bronze Age to Picasso.
