Òrrius is the smallest village in the Maresme and it is located in a valley bordered by the Coastal mountain range, Cordillera de Céllecs and open to the northeast overlooking the Montseny Natural Park. It is crossed by many paths and trails where it is possible to practice trekking on foot, go horseback riding or drive around on a mountain bike, as well as a great climbing school in the Cordillera de Céllecs mountain range with routes for all levels. Lush streams flow through the valley.
The road that starts in Argentona and continues to Roca del Vallès divides the town centre. In the lower part we find an old town formed by a group of houses and two recentlly constructed streets, with the Rambleta next to the stream, where we find the school area and the Municipal Sports Centre, which connects the road to Vilassar de Dalt, and in the upper part the church square, with the Town Hall, the Parish Church of San Andrés of late Gothic style, which contains the chapel of Rosales of Romanesque style. Behind it there is Plaza de Mayo and the Calle Mayor, which connects with the Paseo de los Olivos, taking us through the village to Can Cunill, an impressive 17th century farmhouse.
Paseo de Ribera takes us through natural spots that you can't see merely passing through the town centre. In the rest of the town there are several scattered farmhouses, some also of great value because of their antiquity. In the far north of the town we can find the San Bartolomé hermitage in Romanesque style and in the Céllecs mountain range even an Iberian village.
