Julià Colomer, born in Girona in 1959, holds an Advanced Degree in Dramatic Art, specialising in Staging, from the ESAD (Higher School of Dramatic Art) of Barcelona Provincial Council. With over twenty years’ theatrical experience as a set designer, costume designer and lighting designer, he has also worked in the fields of interior design, temporary architecture and, since 1998, as a lighting designer, museologist and curator of heritage and museum projects. Since 2001 he has carried out his activity through the Emblemma Espais Audiovisuals company. As regards the theatre sector, he has been involved in around 50 productions, mostly with the El Talleret de Salt Company and Bitò Produccions, along with Teatre Lliure, Teatre Invisible and other professional companies, working on both their own productions and co-productions with the Grec Theatre Festival (Barcelona), the Mercat de les Flors Company (Barcelona), the National Classical Theatre Company (Madrid) and the Edinburgh Festival.
