My name is Alejandra Alaff and I am a casting director, working in Barcelona and Madrid. I have been working as a casting director internationally for over 12 years and my experiences ranges from films, theatre and commercials.
My team is located in different countries and we work with various production houses, actors & models agencies in Spain and Europe as in Chile and Argentina. My biggest strength as a casting director is that I was a working actress and therefore in my castings I am able to coach the actors and models (adults & children) into giving their best performance for the project. In my home Spain and Chile, I was one of the pioneers to do “Street castings” where I trained a team to go out into the streets to look for new interesting faces. As well as, being able to find the right person for the specific casting call. In addition to this, my company has been involved in the casting of major international movies steaming from Chile: “The 33”, “Una Mujer Fantástica”, Neruda, “El Bosque de Karadima and many other projects.
