La Mari's story goes on. In the absence of any urgent cause to fight for, Mari throws herself into the rearing of her daughter with the same determination with which she had previously decided to beat her illiteracy or fight to improve her neighbourhood. But, though many parents don't know it, babies require less effort. Mari soon gets bored and, despite her denial to admit the fact, misses a more dynamic life.
