The story of Barcelona's ''Barrio Chino'' from the transition in the 70's from dictatorship to democracy until the present day, and the neighbourhood's resistance to being decimated and re-vamped into the gentrified Raval. Upon this backdrop a case of paedophilia is exposed, a case that rocked Barcelona in the 90's particularly because of the alleged involvement of the police, the press and well-known figures. The trial concluded with a mere two convictions but many innocent parties have been marked for life by the slew of accusations made.
