The new professional training sessions of the Department Against Abuse at the Acadèmia de Cinema Català, aimed at team leaders, are starting. They will be on October 10, November 12, and November 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the SGAE Headquarters (Paseo Colom, 6. Ciutat Vella, Barcelona).

The sessions, run by the Equilatera feminist cooperative, are focused on creating reference people, a key figure in addressing sexist violence, and introducing the new Guide Protocol for preventing abuse in the audiovisual industry.

The training sessions consist of a theoretical and practical block from which several axes will be explored, such as the definition and types of harassment, the mechanisms for detection and addressing it, and the process of welcoming and listening to the victim.
