Sustainable Filming Conference: green production is possible

At the Sitges Film Festival

This conference on sustainable filming will be on October 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. in the Sala Garbí of the Hotel Melià (Sitges). The meeting is co-organized with the Pla_C* Culture for the Climate of the Generalitat de Catalunya. The conference will combine theory and practice and explain how to make a sustainable production design economically profitable.

The conference will have four parts. A theoretical introduction on sustainability by Sandra Magro (co-founder of Mrs Greenfilm). An application of sustainability concepts in an audiovisual production with Carlota Guerrero, head of the Catalonia Film Commission, and Laia Sanahuja, head of the ICEC Environmental Sustainability Plan; a round table with success stories moderated by Sandra Magro and with Asia Jarzyne (Founder and CEO of Willco), Oliver Lupiáñez (CEO of K is for knowledge) and Natàlia Ejarque (Audiovisual producer and Eco Assistant) and finally, a participatory dynamic.
