New film by Lluís Miñarro

Director and producer Lluís Miñarro filmed in Barcelona Emergency Exit. The film is an ensemble road movie. It explores the dichotomy between dream and reality, life and death, from a tone guided by irony and absurdity. They filmed between Catalonia and the Canary Islands of La Gomera and Tenerife.

The film has an international cast made up of Marisa Paredes, Emma Suárez, Oriol Pla, Albert Pla, Francesc Orella, Gonzalo Cunill, Aida Folch, Lu Colomina, Miquel Barberà, Laia Brugarolas and Jhonattan Burjack, along with Arielle Dombasle, Myriam Mézières and Japanese filmmaker Naomi Kawase.

Its script, written by Miñarro with Lu Colomina, tells how 14 characters travel in a mysterious vehicle from which they cannot easily escape. During the journey, they talk about their identity and advance through unreal landscapes on a journey between life and death, sleep and wakefulness.

Eddie Saeta, in co-production with El Viaje Films, produces Emergency Exit.
