After the death in strange circumstances of a well-known man, his stepson seems the main suspect: his car was near his stepfather's house the night he died. When he is arrested and taken to the police station, he jumps out of the car and flees. Suspicions increase. Furthermore, an inspector from the insurance company intervenes in the investigation and creates false evidence to implicate him. The autopsy, however, shows that the death was accidental. On the other hand, the police discovered there were witnesses interested in hiding how it happened.
