In Barcelona, two friends find only temporary jobs. One stops being a waiter to become a messenger; the other works as a taxi driver. In his nocturnal coming and going, the messenger visits many offices, private houses, and bars. He finds himself in the most varied situations: some gloomy, others sinister or pathetic, and some even pleasant.
